“Why would you marry Britney Spears?” I asked.

“It would be over in a short time and I’d make sure to get a good settlement,” he said. “I’m young. I can withstand that.”

“So that means – “

“Yeah, everybody wanted Paris Hilton dead.”

Not only is “Boy Meats MILF” a play on “Boy Meets Girl” but it also suggests the word “meat” as a verb, which is the right thing to do when we accept that English is a living, breathing, meating language.

The playful nature of this title is refreshing, and the choice of the insatiable Ava Devine as the leadoff MILF (opposite the amicable Rocco Reed) is a good one. I admit that, when I was 22 (last year), I probably would have run scared from the voracious Devine, but now I’m ready. Especially now that I can thank her for a big dictionary.

At first, the movie plays like a cheesy wedding video by your pimply high school AV geek cousin. In the segment “Punk Rock Bride,” Sienna West intones in a halting voiceover against a backdrop of fluttering rose petals and white satin:

“Ever since I was a little girl. For as long as I can remember. All I wanted to do was get married. To the man that I love. To the man of my dreams. But now that I’m married. All I want to do is (and here the gauzy lighting and tranquil music change) Fuck.”

Ryan Madison (Kelly’s husband/lucky bastard) plays the groom in each vignette, and Kelly is (uncharacteristically) nowhere to be found.
